Product Description

The Rough Guide Map South India is the most comprehensive map to this spectacular region. With a scale of 1:1,200,000 the map is detailed enough to make an essential companion whilst also covering all of this vast area from Mumbai to the Cardamon Hills. As with all maps in the Rough Guide series, this map is printed on rip-proof, waterproof Polyart paper - durable enough to survive time spent in the a rucksack, pocket or on a restaurant table. The map is detailed enough to show points of interests from ancient buildings to national parks and there is a host a practical detail including contour lines, road numbers, distance markers, road surfaces, airports, train stations and ferry routes.

Maps of India are scarce and most of them are inadequate. This map of South India is the best and most comprehensive that I have found. The waterproof paper makes it strong enough to survive constant folding and unfolding. I used it while touring south india, it was great for planning car and train journeys.
