Enjoy Hungary 14 Sep 2010
Format:Paperback
Bought this book as we were heading to Hungary for the first time. It's well organised into sections dealing with each of the different areas of the country and includes not only essential information but also a lot of background stuff about places, history etc. Hungarian friends were surprised by how much we seemed to know about their city and were impressed when we showed them where we'd got the info from! The guided visits to towns were really useful and brought places to life in a very approachable way.
Details about places to eat (and stay) were also useful (though not essential for us as we were caravanning).
The language section was invaluable, especially at the start before we bought a small Hungarian-English dictionary.
