Brussels guide book 5 April 2009
By Colin D
Format:Paperback
This is an excellent guide book which covers all the main aspects of Brussels. My interests are in in art, food and the wide range of beer found in Belgium. This guide covered all these subjects and more.
As a general guide for Brussels it more than met my expectation.

Although the book has brief outlines of Bruges, Antwerp, Gent etc.I would suggest anyone visiting these cities to buy a more dedicated guide for their purpose.

As a guide for Brussels alone this book is very much recommended.

Do you know where the best seafood resturaunt in Brussels is?
I didnt and its not in the centre but off the beaten track.
Do you know where one of the oldest resturants is in the city?
How about going to a glorious art deco resturant?
I went to these and wouldnt of found them without this guide.
Apart from food its a seriously good guide to the city of where to and where not to go.
Highly Recommneded

I bought this guide for a weekend city break in Brussels, and found it to be very informative (the history and factual data is particularly excellent), easy to carry and pretty accurate on the whole.

It's impossible to cover all of the bars, hotels, and sights in this delightful place (it did not list my hotel for example, nor where I chose to eat), but this book does it's best and I'm confident that you won't be disappointed.
