Product Description

Product Description

Billy O'Connell may have been just a boy when Den Shaw crossed him and his family, but the bad news for Den was; little boys eventually grow into men.
A mutilated corpse turns up in a skip one morning, tortured and almost unrecognisable. Billy has bided his time, ten whole years of hurt, and now justice, as far as he is concerned, has finally been done.

Jay Shaw only looks out for himself, His old man had taught him that much at least. When his father is found murdered Jay knows in his gut who is to blame, but nothing is ever proven. Billy may hate him with a vengeance but the feeling is most definitely mutual. Jay is as nasty and conniving as his father before him: They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and this one is Rotten to the Core.

Kate O’Connell is a decent girl considering the rough area that she has grown up in, and the fact that her brother Billy is so fiercely protective of her. How she has managed to keep her secret from him for so long she has no idea. She is pregnant and Jay is the father.
Caught up in the vicious feud she finds herself having to make a choice, between the man she loves and her fiercely protective brother.
It’s a decision that could cost Kate her life.

I read a lot and Love Kimberley Chambers, Mandasue Heller, Martina Cole etc. So, one day when this kindle book was offered on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a go. It was gripping, intriguing characters and one twist after another, I could not put it down but didn't want to finish it because it was Casey Kelleher's first and only novel! Anyway, the inevitable happened, I came to the end and I was not disappointed! I cannot wait for the next one, keep them coming Casey!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed this.. 12 Mar 2013

I was a bit put off by other reviews that criticised the grammar but I went for it anyway. Grammar wasn't great but really didn't spoil my read. It's a good book if you enjoy Martina Cole and amandasue Heller....very similar. I enjoyed it and would say give it a go...

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed 7 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is the first book from this author that I have read. It was a very good story but was totally ruined, as mentioned in several other reviews, by the spelling and grammatical errors. Incorrect character names were also used on many occasions. Amazon should not be selling books that are not proof read final copies. I think that a refund should be offered along with an apology to all customers who purchased the book prior to the proof reading. Shame on you!
