I bourght one of these wheels back in 2002 for my mice, Freya and Aurora. It was to replace the older wire one my previous boy, Pinkie, had.
One thing I noted the previous reviewer said regarding the noise of the wheel - well, my current girls, Sonic and Tails, are running in it vigorously as I type, with only a low rumble to let me know it's even there. And to be honest, I find that rather nice, it lets me know when the girls have woken up.
I have had a small problem with this wheel - when the girls, as they often do, decide to both run in it at the same time, sometimes the disc that holds the wheel to the spindle slides backwards (Thanks to my own previous loosening of it when cleaning it)
This can be a little noisy, and prevents the wheel from turning if it too slides back. However, it is easily remedied by pushing the disc back up to close the gap.
Perhaps the most telling plus of all with this wheel is that in 15 years of keeping mice, I've had this one for 10 of them (Though not always in use) It's cheap, cheerful colour, and you can't really argue with it on the long lasting scale. At least if they're still building them like they did in 2001!
