Lovely but ....,

Our new Syrian loves his cage - he took a little while to get the hang of the tubes etc but within 3 hours he had accessed everything and done a test drive on the wheel. The only problem is that he LOVES the tube, it is where he stores his food, moves all the bedding down,uses it as a toilet and sleeps in it - it is a pain to clean, but he is very visible. His sleeping in the tube is very funny, as he gradually slips down, a milimetre at a time, and then rushes back up.We are persuading him to sleep in the bed room, and appears to be getting the hang of it!

I bought this cage for my daughter when she wanted her first hamster. It came quickly and was all intact but...... it took a long time to put together is was quite fidly but once done, it looks great and our new addition seems to really like it. My one large complaint is that it is a pain to clean, particularly when you have a hamster who insists on weeing in the tubes, they then drip into the floor (nice!) and you have to take the tubes totally apart to clean properly, then fight to get them back together. Its a cage that my 6, nearly 7 year old is never going to be able to clean out alone as she wouldn't be able to get it apart and back together again. However, it does provide lots of space.

WOW IT'S MASSIVE!!!,

I bought this as my first hamster cage, it arrived in a absolutley massive box. I couldn't believe how big it was once i had opened it. The pictures online make it look a lot smaller. To be honest it's quite cheap quality, and many of the parts were different colours to what they show in the picture. The tubes wouldn't fit into the connectors, so we had to put the connectors into boiling water so they would fit together. Once, put together i felt it wasn't secure enough and it's not balanced enough it's quite wobbily!! The instruction are awful, no step by step instructions or diagrams. It was just a big picture!!It's a great hamster cage for children, but if you don't want to spend an hour putting it together, i would choose an easier cage to construct!!
