All Rotastak is compatible with each other regardless of age type or theme.
Most units can be adapted for dwarf hamsters and baby mice by creating horizontal layouts and/or the use of mouse ladders

This product is perfect! It took about 30-60 mins to build but it was worth it. There is easy access for YOU to pick up and handle your hamster and your hamster will not be able to get out! It is cheap and worth your money. There wasn't any missing pieces or anything.It's quite simple to build just follow the instructions:) My hamster enjoys the spaciousness and likes travelling through the tubes. She finds it simple to climb up the two vertical tubes. Its big enoiugh for my short haired syrian hamster but may not be big enough for long haired syrian hamsters. I think its worth your money cause its cheaper then the usual cages and it also contains a water spout and a food bowl ! Your hamster will love it as much as you!

Im the owner of 2 russian dwarf hamsters,
This was bought as a add one for my large rotastak system, it would be cruel to use it as a full hamster cage as its far too small even for a dwarf hamster.
It also would not be suited to a dwarf hamster the way its layed out on the picture as they cant climb verticle tubing, but you can change the way the tubing is attached by using the hole on the side rather than on top.
Also rotastaks are so hard to build you have to have alot of patience!
Its a excellent buy for what i bought it for, so as a extra to your existing cage i would recommend.

My dreamland house is useless because I'm missing one piece which is a shame. I have had one of these before and it's a brilliant cage for mice or russian hamsters. Plenty of space for movement and play. Plus, a lot cheaper than most cages.
The down sides are :
If you don't have all the pieces, it renders it useless.
It isn't designed for the bigger hamsters
It's a bit on the flaky side as it isn't as strong as wire cages
It's suitable for a small mouse/hamster or newborn hamsters as a starter home but you will need to upgrade sooner or later. If you have a Sybrian hamster then this cage isn't for you.
The down sides are :

Not suitable for dwarf hamsters without buying/making accessories
Fun colours, nice layout but the layout is flawed for (Roborovski) dwarf hamsters since they simply cannot climb the tubes vertically in the suggested layout without buying ladders... Read more
