I bought a waterproof Rotary watch which started letting in water within 1 month of purchase. Following Rotary's advice, I sent the watch back to them.
Despite being under warranty, they are now trying to charge me £70 for repair (it only cost £70 to buy it!).
They are saying that they received the watch with the crown 'unscrewed'. It must only have been mildly loose, as I didn't notice anything when I had it.
They seem to be claiming that I must have been the one to unscrew it ! Evidently, it couldn't have arrived to me loose!!
