The film is an oddity.
It was based on one of the least played of Tenessy Williams plays.
Between the lovely Anna Magnani with an Italian accent, Burt Lancaster, miscast , in an American accent, one actress speaking in an English accent, the all thing was more bathos, than pathos.
Keep in mind that all of T.Ws plays take place in the Southern States, and you get the picture.
So, not much of a find.
What bother me, however, was that all the info was in Chinese!, which has a whiff of illegal Copy!
Not the first time, either.
The 'Hannah Harendt' dvd which I ordered was, most definetetly, a bootleg, and a bad one at that.
