I have read both Rose of Ruby street and Lizzie of Langley Street. They are both gripping books and you can really get to know the characters.
I found them both difficult to put down and look forward to reading the next book, Connie of Kettle Street.

one of the first carol rivers books to read, and really enjoyed it,,cant wait to read the rest

I loved this book from page one and could`nt put it down. The characters are great and I felt that I knew them all personally. This story catapults you into someone else`s life and problems and certainly distracts you from your own. I found myself thinking "now what would I do"?
I also had it on audio in the car and found myself driving longer than I needed to!!!
My husband who is not normally atracted to this sort of book would catch excerpts whilst in my car and became engrossed in the story line and would ask me "Well, what happened next"?....
Can`t wait for my next Carol Rivers experience!!!
