I have used this product for many years. It is the ultimate balm for healing anything from sore lips to split fingers. Recently I have had considerable difficulty finding the product in the shops but thanks to Amazon I can now get it on line. Everyone can use this product from small children to the very elderly and it will sooth and heal much more quickly than all the other sometimes much more expensive balms.

It comes in a small tin that is slightly larger than a two pound coin in diameter with attractive victorian brand styling. When you open it the first thing that hits you is the smell - it's a not unpleasant menthol, mixed with an undertone of strong herbs. After a few time of using it I began to really like the smell, but it was a bit odd at first. The second thing is the colour of the stuff - dark green. Most unusual.

I had a patch of dry skin in both ears that has been very difficult to treat so when my sister gave me this stuff for my birthday I thought I'd try it to see if it would work and I'm glad to say that it has done. Apparently it can be used on cuts, ulcers, spots, sores - skin problems basically.

Applying it is simple, as it's much the same in texture as Tiger Balm; it takes a few seconds of rubbing the tip of your finger gently around the surface for the stuff to soften enough to be able to take a really small amount (almost just a residue is enough I found) to put on the area of skin that needs treatment.

I'd have to recommend this product. The relatively small size makes it easy to keep in a bag or purse and it works very quickly. A tin will last a long time.

as a pensioner i can say there was always a tin of zam-buk in my parents home used for any skin complaint you can imagine.was delighted to welcome it back a couple of years ago, only to see it disappear from the chemist shelves again. i bought two tins this time to pass some on to the family.in seven days it cured a skin condition that my gp was puzzled about!!
