I liked the book but it was different from her usual style i thought.
But a good read nevertheless - Catherine is to be relied upon to weave an interesting yarn.

I have nearly all Catherine Cookson books because she was a great writer I have started reading Rory's Fortune and find it hard to put down because I can't wait to see what is going to happen.
