Product Description

The two great hoaxes of today: 1. All human life began only in Africa. 2. Language and agriculture were developed in the Middle East. This book shatters both.

2.0 out of 5 stars How can I want to read this book?, 16 July 2007
This review is from: Real Roots of German, Greek, Latin & English - Mini Word Origin Directory (Paperback)
Let's face it, the synopsis is enough to put anyone off and then you don't see any formal qualifications associated with the author either. Why buy this book when there is no indication it is anything other than fantasy? The author is who exactly? What is his thesis? Not the daft idea, long discarded, that all languages originate from Sanskrit surely ... anyway, I'm only commenting on the lack of information on this book and the bizarre synopsis that means that I definitely won't be buying it ...

4.0 out of 5 stars Added support for Rangi's theories., 26 Sep 2006
By K. Trout "Kaye" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Real Roots of German, Greek, Latin & English - Mini Word Origin Directory (Paperback)
Real Roots of German, Greek, Latin & English
Rangi Ranganath wrote "One People One Language" which I reviewed in March 2006. In both books he addresses what he calls "The two great hoaxes of today:" 1) All human life began only in Africa and 2) Language and agriculture were developed in the Middle East.

"Real Roots of German, Greek, Latin & English" is a mini word origin directory and adds support to his theory, as described in detail in his first book. If you are interested in Rangi's work and the evolution of language, you will find this book very interesting, and on that basis, I would recommend it.
