rooted in spirit 4 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
I feel that this is one of the most important books in 5 Element Acupuncture. Difficult to understand initially, but once one looks within one finds the truth of Acupuncture and the cycles of nature. Suddenly everything makes sense and the fog disappears. This is the chapter of the Neijing that was not included into the modern version of Traditional Acupuncture for scientific respectability..... without this there is a big peice of the jigsaw missing. Read, reflect and think and you will see.

How to live from your heart 22 Oct 2006
By C. Roosen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book I already read several times, when you are TCM practitioner this is something you have to read, the writers wrote several books together but for me this is one of the best.

It is explaining the spiritual energies of Chinese thinking in a very clear way. After reading this you know more about emptiness, and the important place of it in healing. And for me that is one of the basic elements if you want to help other people without hurting yourself.

A classic in emotional and spiritual healing 21 Sep 1999
By La Contessa - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book immediately became one of my all-time favorite books. It's a "must" for anyone who works with the healing of emotional trauma and abuse, and who has not experienced some trauma or abuse? Themes of the cascade of heaven, which fosters virtue, and resultant blessings to human life are priceless, also source of spiritual healing and restoration. The authors outline a rich and splendid heritage with implications for personal development and trauma healing that will inspire seekers, healers, teachers, and clergy the world over.

An Essential Read 17 Mar 2009
By ChMedDoc - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is often overlooked by students and clinicians, but I consider it an important read. Larre and de la Valle were the first to really analyze medical classics. While I often disagree with their interpretations, their knowledge of everything the Han dynasty texts said is impressive. My only criticism of this book is that their interpretations are often based on western notions of how the classics SHOULD read. I wish more authors were writing books like this-with a mind geared toward classical texts of Chinese medicine and the meanings of the language they used.
