I purchased this for my son's wall. To be fair, I really didn't have any experience with this kind of "reusable wall poster" before attempting to install/hang this particular one. The instructions said the "poster" was reusable and could be easily repositioned. So, my assumption was, it was a "thick" plastic that would go onto a wall similar to how some "plastic glass stickers" stick on window glass.
The product is about the size of a small poster, so as to say, big, but not unwieldy. The plastic ended up being very thin and malleable; however, the backing is very thick. The plastic instantly began sticking to itself. The plastic was so thin, that it didn't hold it's shape at all, just instantly crumbled upon itself like a piece of sticky tape.
I have no idea how someone could get this thing on a wall successfully. And I see no way at all that someone would be able to then remove it from the wall and place it somewhere else without it sticking on itself and wadding up.
I really expected this to be of higher quality, and by that I mean a thicker plastic that would not crumble under its own weight. I would liken the thickness to that of a UPS or FedEx plastic shipping bag. Thicker plastic would have made the installation at least plausible. Which is my way of saying - cheap - cheap - cheap!
Anyway, just as a side note, the whites in the image were grey at best, not at all like the image on amazon. The reds were pinkish. The blacks were grey. And there was a lot of "chafing" in the middle of the image where the poster "rubbed" against itself while be rolled up. I was planning on trying to wash it off after the poster was put up (it says its washable); but I never got to that step. I'm not sure where amazon got the image in the product description, but it is a bit like the image of a McDonald's hamburger vs what you actually unwrap.
So, it's wadded up in a big plastic ball in my garbage can - total waste of money. This is one of those, "I wish I didn't buy it on amazon.com" moments, because in person I either would have seen the product's shortcomings, or I'd have returned it. Oh well.
