Reba does it again,

Reba McEntire never fails to please. With every note sung you feel the song as well as hear it. I've yet to hear a song sung by Reba and hate it. I defy anyone not to appreciate this and other CDs by Reba.

4.5 stars to be highly accurate!,

This is a fantastic album by Reba McEntire and has most of my personal favourtites. Unfortunately, it also has 2/3 songs that I'm not too particularly keen on. Namely - Moving Oleta, Love revival and I'm gonna take that mountain (hence 4.5 stars).
The rest of them are 4- 5 star songs especially the following: 'Secret' is a great opening track. You think you know what she's singing about but when you find out it's a little more painful and sad. Yet for some reason I still find myself trying to sing along with her powerful voice. Brilliant, though it always feels too short. 'Once you've learnt to be lonely' which is about the struggle of learning to love again and has the perfect melancholy tune to it. Reba sings the lyrics with such feeling. 'He gets that from me' is another favourite as it's so bittersweet in meaning but the lyrics again are just beautiful. I imagine a lot of people will be affected by this tale of loss and love. The title track is the type of song I've come to expect from Reba in terms of meaning. She does a lot of stuff about the struggles and strength of women. This one is asking for 'room to breathe' to make sure that this relationship and life is really what she wants. The ones I haven't potentially bored you with descriptions of are good too but they don't blow me away in the same manner. A worthwhile purchase in my opinion. I suppose I should make a small note that a couple of songs have a religious connotation and are pretty much songs of praise and this may or may not appeal to you.
