The Roofing Ready Reckoner is not just a book but a specialist tool for any carpenter that has to put on a cut roof, and Mr. Goss makes it so simple that almost anyone could cut a roof from the instructions and tables in the book.
As a carpenter for over 42 years and having to put on cut roofs using the steel square this book has made my life easier as it will for anyone that buys it. The only thing that someone must be aware of when purchasing the book is that they will have to buy a protractor to set their bevels as unlike the older publications that had a protractor provided.

A superb book. I would say that it is not for the amateur but is an invaluable tool for the trainee carpenter or experienced craftsmen. It is especially useful when used in conjuction with a carpenters roofing square. A must for all roofing
