I must add my comments and experiences to this product as it may be helpful to other purchasers. I had problems filling mine so I contacted Ronson and they informed me that due to the type of valve on the candle lighter you have to keep pumping the refill against the bottom of the lighter for it to fill, you cannot just press the refill on and leave it to fill because it will not. After following these instructions I tried again and it worked perfectly, it is a shame that Ronson did not add these instructions to the item. However I have now had mine for over 9 months and it works as well as it did the day it arrived so I have to give the candle lighter 10/10. I hope others find this helpful.

These are NOT Ronson lighters. At least the two I received weren't. They're branded "Champ" and are made in China and imported by Polyflame Europe SA. They appear to be identical in all but colour to one I bought at Christmas from Space.NK which lasted only a few weeks before the switch broke. Treat them as disposable lighters rather than refillable and you won't be disappointed.

Do not buy this product from this source as they are not 'Ronson' but a substitute make called 'Champ'.

candle lighter
No more burning my fingers when I try to light candles with matches. Very pleased with this simple gadget - should have bought one years ago. Great value too.
