I got these for autumnal days and although they haven't been particularly challenged due to the mostly mild weather this year, when it has been cold they are very cosy considering how lightweight they are. I agree that the M/L is a bit on the big size. I'm 5'6" and usually wear a 7.5 glove and I find the fingers on these are very long. I'm wearing them for Nordic Walking and they work fine with a Leki mit.

Have been using this beanie & glove set for running in cooler weather and they are just right for that. Nice thin material but still keeps you warm. I would say that they are true to size. I got the S/M because of another review about the gloves being large but I wish I'd got the M/L now as my gloves are a bit small and I do have quite long fingers! Beanie size S/M is ok but you might need the M/L if you want it to go over a ponytail.

Running hat and gloves
They both do the job. The gloves are a little on the large side for a woman and the hat is a little on the small side if you have a lot of hair. Read more

The hat is not covering the ears
Got the medium/large size, and was expecting that it would cover my ears, but it's barely doing. Hoping that it will stretch eventually.

Fab gloves
Brilliant piece of kit. Well worth the money. Don't know how I managed in the cold without them. Even stop my headphones from dropping out.
