Ronan Keating is, of course, more your all-round entertainer than a singer, so much of his material isn't too demanding--he actually lets himself be upstaged by one of his own backing singers when they do a duet--but he shows willing by tackling some cover versions for the benefit of the mums and dads in the audience. One is Van Morrison's "Brown-Eyed Girl", an improbable nod to another of Ireland's musical exports; another is Elvis's "In the Ghetto". That's not why his ecstatic audience came, though. They want, and get, "Life is a Rollercoaster", "The Long Goodbye" and so on, all of which he delivers with knobs on (the flying-on-wires episode is one of the most restrained, really). Had there been a stretch of water between Ronan and his audience, he'd probably have walked. This is an essential purchase for fans.
On the DVD: Destination Wembley comes with Dolby 5.1 surround and is presented in 4:3 aspect. The disc has a good documentary about the work involved in touring Ronan's monster show, plus a photo gallery and Web link. However, the extras menu has a rather strange layout which only shows one item at a time, so be prepared to skip through several screens using your cursor keys to find all the options. --Roger Thomas

Also included is a documentary and an animated menu. Overall this is a brilliant DVD - well worth the money.
He's quiet a versatile talent and his vocal strength simply is off the page. It's too easy to make an audience dance with your music and Ronan wasn't an exception when he did numbers such as 'Lovin Each Day' and 'I Love It When We Do' but it's rather too hard to make an audience touch their heart and Ronan's got the ability to do so. His high pitch, deep and heart touching voice simply drowns the crowd.
Coming once again to Wembley, Ronan looked determined to blow the roof emerging into 'My One Thing That's Real.' A Britpop sorta song which is quiet unique for Ronan's stuff and has all the incredients for a future single. He quickly turns into 'Blown Away' and then to 'Lovin Each Day.'
The lightning and the stage set was nothing like I used to see in Wembley, it was more shining and impressive. When Ronan's turn was to perfrom 'Time For Love', he sweetly told the audience that this song was wriiten on the incidents of 11th September and how he was playing golf with one of his mates at that time. 'When You Say Nothing At All' was still as demanding as ever.
He still didn't forget, 'Boyzone' and did a beautiful presentaion of 'You Needed Me' then it was 'We've Got Tonight' current single a duet with Lulu but since she wasn't there so his backing vocalist did the duet. 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' was very strong and touching and he was very naughty and doing explicit moves while performing 'I Love It When We do'
'Life Is A Rollercoaster' received one of the biggest pops for the night and he eventually went on to do his trademark ending with his masterpiece, 'The Long Goodbye' The concert was one of the best work Ronan has ever done yet and he performed songs from both of his albums + few b-sides. In the end, Ronan left his fans in anticipation as what would be his next 'Destination' ?
