Bit flat: part of a series of magazine article reprints., 22 Feb 2002
This review is from: Alfa Romeo Spider, 1966-90 (Brooklands Books Road Tests Series) (Paperback)
There are several books in this series. They are reprints in black and white of original magazine articles.
I find these books all a little less lively than I would like. It's not the publisher's fault, really as they are only reprinting what was originally published.
If you are as obsessed about Alfa Romeos as I am, and you just have to have every last nugget of information and picture, then these books will be good for you.
These days, I prefer to see, hear and smell the live cars not gaze at old pictures of them and journalists reviewing these cars as though they are just another option for the company car driver trying to choose between Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW and, say, Ford.
But it's easy for me to say that, I own most of the books in the series!
