I definitely preferred this to Romeo and Juliet: Volume 1, which is a fairly poppy and lively soundtrack. This, however, is more of a score, with a lot of operatic and classical music. Nearly all of it is absolutely beautiful music, and moves perfectly with the moods of the film. If you liked Baz Luhrmann's "Something for Everybody" (which is similarly brilliant), I recommend this very strongly. It's quirky, it's familiar, it's innocent, it's experienced, it is everything you need for both relaxing and exciting listening.
