Unique, Contemporary, Star-Studded,
By
This review is from: Romancing the Stars: 52 Celebrity-inspired Romantic Insights, Ideas And Illustrations (Paperback)
If you are looking for a book that is unique, contemporary, and star-studded, you need look no further than Aysel Arwen's, Hollywoo'd Romancing the Stars. Ms. Arwen has taken people who are current day household names and given us a totally different perspective on who they are and what they mean to us.This book essentially answers the question, "How can I bring romance into my life?" by exploring how each one of Arwen's 52 celebrities can provide us with inspiration. Everybody knows that people like Sean Connery, Jennifer Aniston, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw are symbols of romance, but how about George Costanza, Larry the Cable Guy, and Barney Fife? Arwen will show you the inner beauty that can be found in their lives and, therefore, in ours. "Romance is not just for the Prince Charmings and Pretty Princesses of this world," says Arwen and she proceeds to prove it with example after example. I found it so refreshing in our jaded, high-stress world to find a book chock full of positive, life-affirming ideals like Romancing the Stars. So settle down with a box of chocolates and Arwen's book. I promise you will come away believing in yourself and others again. Reviewed by Diane M. Wylie

Insightful and Entertaining!,

This review is from: Romancing the Stars: 52 Celebrity-inspired Romantic Insights, Ideas And Illustrations (Paperback)
Romancing the Stars is both insightful and entertaining. Aysel Arwen writes 52 (53, actually) vignettes on love, companionship, and relationships based on Hollywood characters. And Maxine. (Don't we all love Maxine?)I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Because of the delightful illustrations by Bruce Wade and the oftentimes humorous yet wise essays by Ms. Arwen, this book makes a great coffee table book, or an ideal bridal shower gift. My last comment is on the quality of writing. Ms. Arwen's talent shines through in each chapter and I highly recommend Romancing the Stars!

This review is from: Romancing the Stars: 52 Celebrity-inspired Romantic Insights, Ideas And Illustrations (Paperback)
This is a fun and entertaining look at "Love" from the perspective of some of today's hippest Hollywood hitters. With humor and insight Ms. Arwen delves into the serious issue of romance and love with understanding and a wee bit of comic relief. This book offers an inspiring look romance and relationships. Ms. Arwen is a talented author and she has redefined how we can look at this topic one that touches just about everyone's life. Who better to write about love and a person who truly believes in the magic and power of the emotion.
