Maureen, Maureen, Maureen! All I can say is OMG x 2!!! WOW!! A must read!!! It is the 3rd book in the Hopewell General Series, and it is the best and my favorite in this series thus far! Maureen outdid herself in this book! Tell me, can two outstanding high IQ Doctors love, compliment, but live without each other???? I think NOT!!!Totally HOT and full of LOVE and ROMANCE, with a twist of future Mother-in-Law drama who needs a reality check in diversity! LOL!!! I guess she didn't get the memo that "True Love" knows no color, ethinicity or race! The steam truly heats up the pages and magnifies this love and romance beyond the imagination! Maureen totally outdid herself and put her whole mind, soul, and body in this BOOK! WOW!!!!

I love everything about this book aside from the ending... that seemed rushed.
the character build up was awesome. you could feel the anger for them when they fought and the passion when they... well, you know.
and the sex sceens... let's just say I almost broke my vow of celibacy! they were scorching! I actually past out from heat stroke three times!
get this book. the book was worth every penny and more.

It is rare that we see interracial stories from Kimani Romance, so this was a pleasant surprise, especially coming from one of my fav's Maureen Smith. The storyline was so good, and of course it had super hot love scenes. The conflict and attraction between Tamara and Victor was on point, and very entertaining. I especially liked the way Maureen tackled the race issue. Usually it is a black/white issue, but in this case it was a Colombian/Black issue with the Victor's Colombian mother having an issue with Tamara being black. It was just a really welcomed change, and I hope Kimani Romance starts to push through more of these types of stories. I am and always will be a huge fan of AA romance, but it is good to read a variety of books and this one is definitely a must read.
