Well Written 11 Aug 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a well researched and well written book. I look out for unknown and new authors, largely because they can often surprise you with a cracking story and this is no exception. It is well composed and something I enjoyed reading over the weekend, couldn't put it down in fact. It also sets the seeds of the next book which I am looking forward to.

A very good novel. 7 Aug 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
A cracking read, I read it in one go in one day as I found it the sort of story that you wanted to know what was over the next page all the time.
Kevin paints an excellent mental picture in your mind with his descriptions and really knows how to keep the pace up in a book.
Thoroughly recommended.

Ashman the Bard 19 Sep 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Kevin Ashman always presents a cracking story and always told from a uniquely different view which means he doesn't churn out the same old stuff you've read before. His stories have an historically correct basis but what he weaves into that is unique.

Again, Kevin Ashman more than delivers the goods. This is an absolutely riveting read and highly recommended. The only fault I have with Kevin Ashman is that he hasn't been writing for years and years and so there are not lots of his books waiting for me to read. Write, write, write please Kevin....I am waiting to buy and read.

Spoiled by inaccuracies
A good story but the experience is badly affected by typing spelling and grammar mistakes. There is also one glaring character error. Read more
