What a gift!,

There I was, despairing over my 7-year-old son's school Roman Army project, wondering how on earth we would get through it without murder being committed, when I found this book. Parents who find themselves in a similar position should get rid of any other books you might have on the subject, and just use this one. The text is simple enough for a youngish child, and the pictures are terrific. The project is complete, the child is happy, and his mother is delighted.

This is a wonderful book for a Year 3 kid. He had to do a project on Roman Army, and this book had everything!! Internet linked pages led to many useful websites for more information. Best part is that the kid can read it easily too. First I bought the easily available Rotten Romans book from bookstore, but had to struggle with that because it wasn't easy read for 7 yr old boy.This does the job excellently !!!
