Never had an impact wrench before..always fancied one but couldn't justify £150 or so. So I bought this wondering whether it would really be man enough for the Rover P6 restoration I'm doing..a work in progress!
I have to say I'm more than pleasantly surprised..so far it's coped with everything Crankshaft pulley bolt? 160 lbs-ft? A breeze!
Maybe not suitable for intensive use, but for how often I'm using it..highly recommended.

I bought this as it was cheaper than a new battery for my Draper 18V version. A number of my colleagues use them intensively in repairing ship's engines and find them robust and extremely powerful.

Excellent! This is better than I expected, well built, and effective. It soon shifts wheel nuts/bolts. As it is for home use, I can't say how it would stand up to heavy use, but it's far from flimsy or lightweight; it feels like it will take some hammer! If you are dithering about buying one, don't. Two batteries and a fast charger also means no waiting for a battery to charge.

dont be caught by rolston products
Rolston are very difficult to deal with, tools are good but the batteries are rubbish - no matter how well they are treated they will fail, mine lasted less than 6 months - rolston... Read more
