Ive had this knife for over 3 months now and use it on a proffessional basis, after replacing an old Irwin "stanley type" I used ( that the blade kept slipping out off the knife body )
I found a similar Rolson knife to this one but with the stanley blade type only (no 3" curved blade). I was about to buy it before noticing this litte beauty which has a razor sharp slightly curved 3" blade AND a stanley blade, it was 2 quid cheaper too !!! Bargain.
I've found the build quality superb, 10 out of 10! the blade can be changed quickly and when its in place it doesn't budge (not even 1 mm !!) the blades are very easy to change too (just hold down the little "flick up" nut and slid out old blade and slide in new, then release the nut and you have a new solid blade in place. I have actually dropped this product off a 3 tier scaffold (I can be a bit clumbsy) and not so much as a scratch on it.
Its also alot smaller than your standard stanley knife has a belt clip which I find helpful. As I said Im clumbsy and tended to drop and lose my old knife!
I would seriously recommend this product to anyone considering buying a new stanley knife. The features are excellent the build quality and design are excellent whether your a proffessional trade or a DIYER this tool really does stomp all over its competators !! I cant think of any downside too it. It even comes with 5 spare blades in a blade dispenser case. for less than 7 quid you cant go wrong !!!
Hope this helped
