My little boy's eyes popped out of his head when he received this digger. It looks big to me, but to a four year old it must look enormous. It has two seats, and he prefers the rear digger which has a great scooping action. Its important to lower a stabalising leg before the back seat is used. If he forgets it can tip over. The leg seems fairly robust and certianly the whole vehicle is very solid. All in all a good product. BUT, allow 5+ hours construction time....not a job for Christmas Eve after one too many vinos. Even the stickers take an hour to put on. And it helps if you speak German. Fo some reason there is no picture of the finished article so keep a copy from the amazon web site handy. I do wonder why an item that costs quite a lot really needs so much work...but there you go. Once the horrors of fixing socket A to flange B are fogotten, the end result will delight your child.

My dad purchased this for my sons 3rd birthday and foolishly decided to build it with help from said 3 year old??!! The tractor itself got build but still 3 years on we haven't constructed the other parts completely and therefore it hasn't been used to its full potential. Would agree it takes a long time to assemble and some bits seem almost impossible, not helped by next to useless instructions and think ours may have been incomplete anyway! Would definatley recomend though and my son who is now 6 still loves it and has asked for a trailer for Christmas, hence me stumbling across this and deciding to review!! Infact I think when and if I ever have time on my hands I'll try again to complete it! The main body is sturdy and durable and is loved by my son and his 3 younger siblings and I can see it standing the test of time.
