Relationship of Command was released long before it's time, and hasn't aged by a second in seven years. This, probably the strongest track on the aforementioned record may very well be the finest song ever recorded.

There really aren't enough superlatives.

It's powerful, incredilbly original and this author doesn't expect it to ever be bettered.

Just when you were starting to loose faith in music along come ATDI. This single is from the El Paso crew's outstanding "Relationship of Command" album. Quirky, punky, fast, catchy, the track featuring the legendary Iggy Pop (what further endorsement is needed?) on backing vocals, seems come at you from all angles. ATDI are spearheading a wave of what Kerrang! Recently termed the "New Noise Revolution" which includes bands such as Blue Tip and Oneinda. ATDI are a unique blend of Fugazi , Iggy and the Stooges, MC5 and a hint of Rage Against the Machine. But when you listen to them, their impact is greater than the sum of their influences (if that makes sense). They are quite simply a breath of fresh air.

Nothing new really. 25 Dec 2000

This is the import CD of At The Drive In's new single, Rolodex Propaganda. It has the version of Rolodex Propaganda off Relationship of Command, a BBC cut of One Armed Scissor (w/ Iggy Pop on backgroundvox), and Extracurricular which was featured on the split with Sunshine. This is pretty much only for the fan who has a compulsion to own everything At The Drive puts out. The highlight of this is definetly hearing Iggy Pop back up At The Drive In. So, if you have Relationship of Command, I'd pass on this. But if you're a diehard obsessive, then get this before it disappears forever.
