If you like rock blues you will love this, good strong vocals with a voice very mature for the young mans age and fantastic guitar work. Davey's amazing talent goes from strength to strength.

To explain how good this album is:
My Dad is a massive music sceptic, anything recorded after 1983 or that never appeared first in vinyl is the spawn of Satan to him. Imagine my surprise when I first played his album in my room only for him to burst in and exclaim "Is that Cream?"
Every track makes you feel alive, Davey Knowles guitar sound (when expressed loud and fast enough) sounds like the audio equivalent of Jack Daniels: warming, sometimes firey and if it's possible for a sound to appear golden then this guitar sound does.
It's a very good buy, well worth the money and it has a real re-listen value, picking up on little touches you might not have first time round. Having said that, if your Dad likes it, make sure you keep hold of it. Dad nicked mine and it's remained his drivetime album of choice since.

This is a decent set of fast blues from a talented trio of musicians. Mostly the tracks are self penned and are of a pretty decent standard, with some top notch guitar work with an inventive and steady rhythm section. The vocal work is ok, though a little light at times.
With a cover of `Outside Woman Blues' it is clear that this trio have modelled themselves on Cream. While not quite climbing to the same heights this is nonetheless a creditable effort.
My main criticisms would be that the album production is a little too clean, which detracts a little from the tone of the piece. And the tracks feel a little too restrained and polished - with a looser style with a bit more room for improvisation I feel that these three could really make something special.
All in all a decent album, one well worth getting for all fans of well performed blues.

Roll Away
The cd in places sounds reminiscent of cream, I prefer coming up for air but I'm sure some will disagree. I very much enjoy the cd.

i seen these guys live in a pub in isle of man by chance and me and my mate were amazed, they do proper music, i cant get enouth of them now
