Product Description

Star Portraits with Rolf Harris Series 2 is the DVD release of the hit prime time BBC show. Rolf Harris hosts as each episode a different celebrity sits for the artists. At the end of the programme the celebrity has to choose which portrait to keep for themselves. Series 1 celebrity sitters are: Cilla Black, Mo Mowlam, Adrian Edmondson and Richard Wilson. Star Portraits is BBC1's highest watched art show with regular viewing audiences of over 5 million. In addition to the complete second series this DVD release features a 32 page collectors booklet giving more background about the celebrity sitters and the artists who paint them. Also included are 12 short vignettes showing all of the artists constructing their portraits.

Very inspiring ! - not very little steps on how to.... but indeed very inspiring and shows very different techniques - Bought both in the series - I would buy a third DVD if a such existed !

I really like Rolf Harris and he is an ideal presenter for this series, which is brilliant. I'm only sorry that Series 3 does not seem to be out on DVD at all.

this is inspiring for any budding artist, I like all art programmes (especially by Rolf) and this BBC series was my favourite at the time so I decided to buy the dvds
