Well made and easy to assemble. I had it ready in a little over 10 minutes so I can't see it taking much more than 20 minutes for the methodical or tool-phobic parent.
It's a little smaller than I'd imagined, but that's fine - No issues there in all honesty. We bought it for our 2 and a half year old, but it gets as much (if not more) use from our 11 month old who loves to stand at the cooker (she has a scary obsession with the tomatoe!). We have cream walls, or we did have until we bought this (they got better!). Beware, the paint will come off very easily on to any wall you decide to put it up against (no paint coming off anywhere else - and you wouldn't know you'd lost any paint if you look at the back of the product). We had to paint over many stubborn blue marks on our living room wall only yesterday. We've moved the cooker in to the playhouse outside - It was taking up too much precious room anyway!. We did consider glueing felt to the rear-most parts of the cooker but didn't in the end. It wouldn't take too long to do and wouldn't be too expensive, so don't let this one small thing like this get in the way of buying this toy. It really is a lovely product. When coupled with a few more wooden toys (we got a kettle, some eggs and some vegetables that you can cut through) it really does make for hours and hours and hours of fun for the little'uns. SOOOO much nicer that the plastic ones I've seen. Love it!

Lovely kitchen which I bought for my daughter's 2nd birthday. As previous posts have said, although this is good quality it is very small (my daughter has to sit down to play with it).

A bit smaller than I thought and slightly more complicated to put together than anticipated, but we love it!
