A great compilation but the print quality is not as nice as the original Titan or Rebellion reprints.

This is a fantastic compilation of the original Rogue Trooper stories as they appeared in 2000AD but it is a little thin on background information, rough drawings, pinups, 2000AD covers featuring Rogue Trooper etc. which were present in the original Titan reprints. The print quality is ok but not as crisp or glossy as the last reprints by Rebellion, nor as good as the original Titan books. However, if you want to be able to re-read the rogue trooper stories again in sequential order nothing beats this compilation and I look forward to volume 2 and hopefully volume 3. I say hopefully for volume 3 as Rebellion books abandoned the Rogue Trooper stories without finishing the final story arc in their last attempt at reprinting tales of this original and entertaining hero.

OK a graphic novel but containing the first tales of Rogue Trooper. The 2000AD character was always a favourite of mine nd this collection is perfect at bringing back meories from my youth. The amount of stories here are fantastic as the book is thicker than most Graphic novels. yes indeed if you are a Fan of Rogue Trooper or War stories in Graphic Novel form then this book is one for you.

I came across Rogue Trooper way back when it first appeared in 2000AD and couldn't get enough of it. I bought this volume so that I didn't have to keep digging out my old progs. and it's so much more convenient and robust. True to the originals this is great for oldies like me and would be a good introdution to the series for newcomers. Excellent.
