Rogue Trader: Stars of Inequity wasn't a very loudly heralded release from FFG, and there have been numerous comments from the community about the choice of name.
Forget about that though, this is one of the very best RT books that FFG have done for some time (and I've been a big fan of nearly every other). Rules and tables for randomly generating in depth solar systems, planets, asteroid belts and interesting places to board and salvage. Including derelict space stations full of ancient tech or alien gadgets, ancient star ship battlefields to salvage, pirate bases to encounter and interesting alien and human colonies to discover.
The rules not only allow you to generate the solar system and planets (plus moons, belts, etc) but also the terrain, atmosphere, gravity, etc on the planets and the type of resources found there.
Then there are rules for founding colonies, types of colonies, rules for expanding colonies and how they cost Profit and generate Profit. How colonies deplete the resources and are managed by chosen npc's, what infrastructure upgrades can be purchased and the choice between colony grown or profit factor... Then onto a random treasure generator which allows you to create your own treasure, archeotech or xenotech items, weapons, armor, star ship components, etc.
Rounded off with a helping of new factions within the expanse, some expansion of the fluff, quick creature generator and just general awesomesauce. Well worth the 5 stars and I would give it 6 if I could.
