I have recently come across this volume for Songs by Roger Quilter whilst doing a search for a piece for singing diploma and sent for it straight away. I am extremely pleased with the content and showed it to my Music Teacher, who was taken with the volume so much he now also has a copy.
As it says in the title I have entered " AN EXCELLENT CHIOCE FOR ROGER QUILTER FANS" I would also go as far to say a good addition also to the repetoire of any singer whether amateur or professional and any Singing/vocal teacher. Another good one from the publishers HAL LEONARD.

This is an excellent collection of Quilter songs with a very good biography and informative notes on the songs also included. No other collection seems to include all the favourite songs as well as the less well-known ones, and at this price it represents amazing value.
Only slight reservation is whether the pages will remain fixed in the book as some of my other Hal.Leonard collections have not survived regular usage very well, but we can't have everything!

Hal Leonard's Vocal Library is the new standard.

I have a multitude of Hal Leonard Vocal Library publications in my library and I am very pleased with the quality... especially for the price. Even at full price (which I have yet to pay for one of these gems at Amazon), they are well worth it. I recommend "The Vocal Library" to students and educators alike.

A very good collection. A little disappointing not to see "Go, Lovely Rose" included and there are a couple of alarming misprints ("Now sleeps the crimson petal, NOT the white"). I wasn't a huge fan of the Finale typesetting either, but it's easy enough to read. It is great to see the best of Quilter's excellent songs assembled so conveniently and for such a low price. A must-have for the library of any serious young singer and probably a good purchase for a repiteteur or teacher.
