Roger Keevil was born and educated in Southampton, U.K., and has earned his living in a variety of jobs, from sales promotion in exports for an international electronics company, working in an advertising agency, and managing a restaurant, through to running a theatrical supply business.
Having moved to Spain in 2006, he devised and began to write a series of light-hearted short stories featuring his detectives, Inspector Andy Constable and Sergeant Dave Copper, eventually deciding to develop one of his stories into his first full-length novel, 'Feted to Die' (now re-titled 'Murderer's Fete' as an e-book). Returning to the U.K. in 2009, he published the second Inspector Constable mystery, 'Juan Foot In The Grave' (e-book version later re-titled 'Murder Unearthed') in 2012, drawing on his experiences in Spain to tell the tale of the murder of a Spanish builder. In August 2013, he launched Inspector Constable's third investigation - 'Death Sails In The Sunset' - set aboard a cruise ship. He published the fourth book, 'Murder Comes To Call', in which Constable and Copper tackle three very different cases, in 2014 and has followed this in 2015 with 'Murder Most Frequent', another trio of puzzles for his detecting team.
