Great coffee table book. We saw it this summer at Rocky Mountain National Park and wished we purchased it. Found it on Amazon. 😃
A jewel of a book. 29 Jan. 2015

I loved this book! Living in and being a history buff of Colorado, being a frequent visitor of RMNP, a hiker and photographer, this book fascinated me! I enjoyed learning about the ghost town of Lulu City. Quite interesting learning about F. O. Stanley building the Stanley Hotel in 1909, transporting the rich and famous from nearby towns in his Stanley Steamer. I also found the story of the Englishwoman who hiked Long's Peak amazing and the early Paleo-Indians that left traces of their stone tools when hunting. Very well written, beautiful photos. I was so impressed I bought a copy for my sister who lives in Estes. How fortunate we are to have this park.
Rocky Mountain National Park: A hundred years young! 28 Jan. 2015
By Jim Case - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
My wife and I saw this book for sale in the gift shop at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. I enjoy anything history related and the pictures of a hundred years ago are nice. My older brother loves going up to Rocky Mountain National Park frequently throughout the year to photograph the amazing beauty! Love the Park and love the book!

COLORADO NUMBER ONE PARK 27 Feb. 2014

Now in my Bookshelf. This is Central Western America number one attraction. Here just in the middle of the Continental Divide. The photos are a great compliment not only for the attractions. We can meet the Park Founders and have the idea of how and why this place was created. More than attraction or scenery. This is really the best history compilated for this attraction. We have the idea of how it began and continues to be a recreative site for tourists and nature lovers. Even for those like me who may only enjoy photos of its main attracctions and landscapes. The book is highly recommended. All the history of this place like never could had been written. Do not forget to include it in your library. It is the best treasure of America Nature and Parks of course.

I purchased this for my family's annual Christmas book exchange. My family has many memorable times spent at Rocky Mountain National Park, and this book is a beautiful tribute to the beauty and grandeur of this Colorado gem.
