Clarke's book is a great idea book. It takes one simple idea and shows how you can use that idea to make more money making software. It is such a simple idea too, which he shows in his story that you'll be amazed more people aren't using it.

If you help to make software, then spend the money for this book. Having this book should make you more successful in your software projects. That should be MUCH MORE SUCCESSFUL actually. Really. Read it and see the light. Yes, it is that good. Quality, not quantity is what matters here.

In this short book Clarke provides a clear story around a technique which can provide immediate benefits to any medium to large scale software project. It can reduce cost, improve time to market and therefore alleviate risk for the customer.

Would encourage anyone who is working in software to read this story and try to understand how they could use this story to improve the way they are doing things inside their organization.

I plan to use this story to try to change the way we work in my company.
