Not very supportive for a Rockport shoe

I found these online as a cheaper alternative to some Cole Haan slip ons that I wanted to replace. (The Cole Haan slips with Nike Air are incredible.) These looked like the other pair, they got good reviews and Rockport has a great name for comfort and support. Got these in the mail, did one walk around the house, put them back in the box and sent them back. There is hardly any support in these shoes (my Reef sandals have much more arch and footbed support.) They just feel squishy and cheap.. the way those cheap house loafers feel - comfy for a moment and then you want some proper support under you after you try walking in them. These are too highly priced for the quality of support. Get Reef or Quicksilver sandals for a comfy pair. I think with these you are paying for the name and the style. Not impressed.
Way too expensive!

The wide is not wide and the sandals feel weird on my feet. For sandals this expensive, you would expect something better. The construction and materials seem to be of good quality but the design/fit is lacking. I've had Teva, Chaco, Docker, and Clark sandals and they all feel much better on my feet than this sandal. I think I'll avoid Rockport sandals from now on.
