Soles have perished and now let water seep through. Only ever done walking to work and shops very local to where I live. I am in my sixties, all my life my shoes / boots have lasted much longer and whilst the uppers are still fine well polished and cared for the soles don't do any justice to the product.

Nice boot but too large I have to wear a thick sock when wearing them. Think this should be explained better in DESCRIPTION ! (the fact that they are a large boot that is) Other than that the leather is very supple and if they fitted correctly I would say a comfortable boot. Next time I will go to a shop and try them on. Sadly I had worn them outside before I realised they were too big, so could not send them back, I think I learned a lesson ! HEED the warning LARGE BOOT !

I had to buy a new pair of Rockport shoes after my old ones gave up on me after 8 years. This pair is very comfortable and stylish compared to my last pair, but they are staring to scuff on the leather/ankle support, both laces snapped and wear down on the sole after only a few months. I wear them every day for work and my job is in IT sitting in front of a computer, so I'm hardly running a marathon! Wish I had got exactly the same pair as last time.
