I ordered these for a UK size 8 and despite the Amazon invoice in the box referring to this size the shoes arrived with a US size 8 which are too small. The shoes looked decent enough but they had to go back when they don't fit!

Reason I ordered the shoes was of course I liked the look but also as they had half sizes, ordered 8.5 UK (43) but received US size 8.5 instead which equals 8 UK (42}
very annoying as I am going on holiday had hoped to have these shoes with me.

For a casual work day with the almost minimal barefoot feel

I love these shoes. I have had them for about two years and they are a great shoe to carry with you if you are traveling or on vacation. They are very lightweight and packable, plus just dressy enough for a nice dinner while on vacation.
Not only that, they have support Adidas Adriprene support, but the soles are thin enough that they have an ALMOST barefoot feel to them. Don't expect the same feel as VFFs though. So they can be used as a good transition from supported to barefoot shoes while at work. Of course they aren't designed for that, so the toebox doesn't allow for much splaying of the toes, but it still has some good transition if you wanted something that is okay for work but still somewhat barefoot.
I got these while on a really good sale though, so for the same price, you could get the barefoot leather Merrell's for work too.

Husband loves these. They are great casual shoes and look good w/ jeans. Very comfortable, too! A very good buy when I purchased on Amazon.
