DUANE EDDY Fans can buy this set without hesitation as it is all full of original Jamie recordings. The recordings are all first rate for their age and completists will want the CD's for the extra vocal tracks enclosed in the set.
NOTE: Two vocal tracks are not listed on the packaging for CD 1 but are revealed on playing. They are tracks 31 and 32 and are "SODA FOUNTAIN GIRL" and "I WANT SOME LOVIN' BABY". Also "Dixie" on CD1 is a variation on the released "Theme from Dixie".
63 tracks on 2 CD's of memorable 50's/60's hits by the greatest Twangin' guitar exponent of his era Duane Eddy at this price is a bargain. Buy it!

I couldn't agree more with Ac Enterprises. This is just about the definitive collection of superb original Eddy recordings. I have all of his relaease on CD (and some are really not very good), all his vinyl recordings, and this just about pulls all the best together in 2 great CDs. Good original sound reproduction and notes. I would have liked release dates and chart positions by the title lists, but that's a small quibble. Also, I do miss some of his RCA stuff - I always like Dance with the Guitar Man - but do you ever ever get exactly what you want? This is just about as good as it gets - hey - there's a good compilation title. Terrific price too. Eddy fans must get this. Don't be put off by the fact you probably have most of the tracks already, this is his best stuff in one glorious package.

ALL GOOD STUFF THIS, AND CHEAP TO BUY TOO. GREAT SOUND, BUT A COUPLE OF NON-EDDY TRACKS HAVE CREPT IN SOMEHOW. RECOMMENDED OTHERWISE.
