Grimms was/were a loose agglomeration of musicians, comedians and poets who performed live for a few years in the early 70s. Mike McGear (Paul McCartney's brother), honorary Python Neil Innes, Bonzo Viv Stanshall, poet Brian Patten, King Crimson's Mike Giles, and guitar genius Ollie Halsell all passed through, and most appear on this album, their second. It's a hodgepodge of silly songs (the title track rocks in a boogie-woogie mode and is funny), really good poetry from Patten, and some comedy material. I played it a lot when it first came out in '73 ('74?), and it's still worth a listen for fans of anarchic entertainment. Recommended as an enjoyable oddity.
