Rocket countdown is an exceptionally colourful, well designed and most importantly, fun book for kids (and adults). My 2 daughters both love it (aged 18 months and 3 years), since it gives ample opportunity for the reader to create a truly interactive experience, by incorporating sounds and actions into the story. It is also a good way for introducing numbers in a fun way. I highly recommend it.

This book works well for kids in the under 4 category. It's very colourful, has different types of flaps to keep them interested and provides plenty of opportunity for interactive entertainment!! It is also good for basic counting.I'm not sure about it's relevance for children at the top end of the suggested age range, but my 2 year old daughter loves it!
