I bought this guitar as a sort of stand-in as my main guitar packed in on me, and I have to say, four years later it has yet to disappoint me! Yes, I had my reservations on how good a cheap guitar will actually play/sound/last, and at first glance on getting it out of the box it certainly isnt an actual Les Paul, and you might want to have a decent set of strings at the ready to replace the one's it comes with, but with a bit of tweaking here and there (I took the scratch plate off leaving it all black, gave it a clean and as above, replaced the strings), it is a very good guitar for beginners or for the more seasoned of players!
The amp and spare strings are a bit below par for my liking but that is probably because I am used to playing through a big beefy Line6 with Ernie Ball strings, but for the beginners out there im sure they will serve you well until you're ready to make the step up :) So yeah, its 5 stars from me for this little beaut, its been one of my closest friends since the day I got it, long live Rockburn guitars hahaha!!!
P.S. Ive yet to have a single problem with it (knock on wood).

as described, works well and nice sound, ideal beginners kit, only thing i would possibly suggest is to change the strings

I recieved the guitar a few weeks ago, I really enjoyed playing it until recently when i decided to re-string it and clean it. I removed the control knobs and strings and none of this was a problem until I attempted to put the knobs back on the guitar, a small amount of pressure was placed onto one of the knobs causing it to break through the body of the guitar as i attempted to put it back on.I can now see the body is very thin and I am upset and rather dissapointed In summary, I really enjoyed the guitar until it broke but in honesty, I am now saving up to buy a classic vibe stratocaster. I wouldn't recommend this purchase and now see it as a waste of 135 pounds. Do not buy.

I recently tested the rockburn lp and found it OK. Some features wee a bit disappointing. If you can afford a slightly more pricey guitar, i would reccomend the vintage v100 as is is beautifully made, sounds wonderful and is great value for money. You can pick one up for around £200.
