The Rock Band 3 MIDI PRO-Adapter provides a link between traditional MIDI instruments and videogame consoles. Seamless connectivity with MIDI-compatible Drums, Guitars and Keyboards is now possible. With a versatile clip for use on a tabletop, or attaching to an instrument or waistband, the place-anywhere design promotes total freedom of movement. An Overdrive activation button coupled with full-featured action buttons and D-Pad for in-game navigation all deliver the perfect blend of videogame and real-world rocking.

The MIDI PRO-Adapater enables the use of real MIDI instuments for traditional Rock Band representational mode or pitch-accurate Rock Band Pro mode, which lets players experience the challenge and reward of playing along with real notes until they've mastered them on expert!

Easily connects MIDI Drums and Keyboards that follow the general MIDI spec, allowing you to play them with Rock Band 3 on the Xbox 360 console. (MIDI Cable sold separately.)

Velocity adjustment wheel for fine-tuning sensitivity helps to eliminate crosstalk by adjusting the translation of hit detection on drum pads.

3-Way switch enables the MIDI PRO-Adapter to identify drum, keyboard and guitar modes (D K G).

The MIDI PRO-Adapter features action buttons and a D-Pad for in-game and console navigation functions. The addition of a large Overdrive button makes initiating the Overdrive feature quick and easy.

MIDI signals are shown via the MIDI indicator LED. The MIDI PRO-Adapter will read all general MIDI 1.0-compliant signals for channel 1 and channel 10 as default keys and drums. The MIDI PRO-Adapter will read channels 1-6 for MIDI guitars.

The MIDI PRO-Adapter features a versatile, removable clip to be used for the following play styles:

1. Attached to an instrument	2. Clipped to a belt or waistband	3. Laid flat on the Adapter's soft, non-abrasive rubber feet for use on a tabletop

The MIDI PRO-Adapter is required for the Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller. Designed exclusively for Rock Band 3 Pro mode, the Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller allows players to play the actual notes and chords of their favorite songs while racking up high gameplay scores.
