Not rock & roll, but I like it 6 Feb 2004
By Charles Seelig - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
The House Band's increasing diversity of tunes and ability to mesh the strengths of the instruments is well shown in this third CD by the group. Especially well done are The House on the Hill and Gwendal. Not just a bunch of fiddle tunes with backup, every instrument has a role to play.

Celtic Fun 22 Feb 2001
By The Orange Duke - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Pleasant traditional Celtic music, although mostly instrumental. Since I prefer my music with vocals it's not surprising that I find the best tracks to be `Hopeless Road' and `Shiver Me Timbers' (the best instrumental track is `Gwendal'). The mournful vocals really add power to the fine music, and the two tracks mentioned are worth the price of the CD alone, the rest is just a bonus.
