Having read two Xcite collections of short stories and been disappointed by them I was pleased to find that this short, un taxing novel was actually quite enjoyable. There was a plot, likeable characters, witty text and some fairly raunchy sex taking place in some pretty improbable locations in San Fransisco. Unlike other so called erotic novels the sex in this one is actually enjoyable to read and not 'wince' making as is so often the case. Its not a novel to set the literary world on fire but it does provide a few cheap thrills and would make perfect holiday reading. And lets face it where else could you loose yourself for a few hours in the company of an astrophysicist and a journalist writing an article about rocking horses!

This is a book written with witty dialogue and a wry eyebrow raised! It was a great light read; plenty of erotic encounters, minimal angst, and a fast pace to ensure you don't get bored.
The hot-to-plot ratio is fair, although it is probably biased in favour of the hot moments... of which there are many. I don't think you probably realized how many opportunities there are in a normal day!! Shame about the cover, as it was definitely a book I wouldn't want to read in public without a book-cover cover on!!

If you've ever read Jeremy Edwards before, you'll know what to expect. If you haven't, let me enlighten you: he knows what he's doing with words. He knows words I didn't even know existed. He bends them all over the place.
But don't make the mistake of thinking that this means you're in for a wordy-word type of book. Because although it's beautifully written, it's also fun and frisky. Two words you rarely hear used, in the vicinity of a lot of modern erotica. And not that I don't sometimes like a bit of dark and edgy, but lighthearted sexy fun does make for a refreshing change of pace. Especially when it's lighthearted sexy fun featuring characters you want to spend time with, doing all manner of doirty things.
What's not to love? Utterly yummy yumminess. Go buy.

I can only suggest that the author goes and checks out some of the other erotic fiction sold on Amazon, especially the Black Lace series, and takes a few lessons. Read more
