It says clearly on the cover that this is a tribute to Les Paul, so obviously the content would be 50's style. Why some people gave it a bad review because they were expecting jazz/rock is beyond me. This is an exhuberant and brash celebration of 50's music with great guests.

Fantastic CD with Jeff showcasing his all round talent. The vocals from Imelda May are truly amazing. Great song choices too eith the instrumentals "Apache" and "Sleepwalk" taking you back to when stars of the hit parade were musicians not manufactured pop.

I heard 'How High The Moon' on the radio and ordered this album [and the DVD] the next day. This was like Les Paul supercharged with caffeine! Although of similar age to Jeff I had somehow missed the highlights of his career [Probably because The Yardbirds never featured in my personal hall of fame]
Guest artiste Imelda May was new to me too and she now has a new fan.
I reckon it would be impossible to play this CD and not feel happier as a result. In one word ... f-f-f-fantastico!

The TV programme of Jeff Beck's tribute to Les Paul was terrific. I wanted the CD to play in the car. Great driving music! Imelda May is fabulous.

This is a great mix of styles and as such was quite a surprise but the more I listen to it the more I like it. Jeffs playing is always bang on for all the styles.

Great cd, you can't beat live music, especially when top quality artists perform. Jeff Beck is superb on guitar & Imelda May continues to impress as also are her band. The brass section added a different feel to some of the songs, also great cameos from Brian Setzer and Garry US Bonds

Great music, phenomenal playing, Imelda May is a force of nature, this is a good intro to anyone who's curious about classic rock 'n' roll. It's also great to see Jeff Beck step out of the Strat mold for a bit.
